How do I replace the door switch on my EDGESTAR DWP62 series countertop dishwasher?

The door switch on your EdgeStar DWP62 series dishwasher signals to the circuit board that the door is closed properly and the unit can begin a cycle. A failing switch may lead to an error code, failure to turn on, or it may even allow the unit to run without the door closed properly.

NOTE: Empty contents of unit and disconnect from power source before attempting any repairs.
