If your EdgeStar IP210xx icemaker has stopped working, it may need to be reset. To reset your portable ice maker, please follow the below instructions.
PLEASE BE SURE THE UNIT HAS BEEN UNPLUGGED FROM ITS POWER SOURCE BEFORE PROCEEDING.
Step 1: Unplug power cord from wall outlet.
This is both a safety precaution as well as a necessary step to be able to manually move the ice shovel in step 2.
Step 2: Manually adjust the ice shovel position through its cycles
While firmly pressing the middle of the ice shovel (see below image) push the ice shovel mechanism towards the back of the unit, then pull towards the front of the unit and finally push it all the way to the back of the unit again. Please repeat this action 3 times. NOTE: You will hear a 'zipping' sound as you move the motor manually.
Step 3: Plug power cord back into wall outlet
Step 4: Power unit on
