Washer Dryer Combo Troubleshooting Tips

Solution

Washer won't fill, rinse or drum will not turn

Make sure the power cord is plugged into a proper power receptacle

Turn the wash program knob to the correct program number

Check to see if the water inlet hose is kinked

Make sure the water pressure at the tap is correct and ON

Shut door properly

Check to see if the fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped

Remove shipping bolts and spacers

 

Drum does not fill, but water is flowing

Fix the drain hose at the correct height

Make sure the power cord is plugged into a proper power receptacle

At the start of the cycle water inflow is low and is absorbed by the laundry quickly. This creates a perception that water is not flowing

 

Washer dryer stops

Make sure the power cord is plugged into a proper power receptacle

Check to see if all knobs are correctly rotated to point to the program

Check to see if the water inlet hose is kinked & the tap is on

Call an electrician to check the wall socket. Do not use an extension cord

Do not overload drum with laundry

Check to see if the lint filter is clogged ( Do not open while unit is full of water)

 

Washer won't drain, continues to fill or the cycle seems stuck

Make sure the drain hose & lint filter are not clogged, that there's not an air gap in the drain hose and is not placed 31 1/2 inches above the floor

Check your electrical service or call an electrician. Do not use an extension cord.

 

Washer makes noise

Remove shipping bolts and spacers

Make sure the unit is leveled

Gears engaging, Heavy wash loads can produce a thumping sound, these are normal sounds

 

Washer/Dryer leaks

Make sure the water hoses and are tight & properly seated and the filter cap is closed tightly and in place

Make sure the sink or drain are not clogged, too much detergent will also clog the unit and water will overflow

Make sure the unit is leveled and resting firmly on the floor

 

Dryer does not dry

Too much clothes will overload the drum and will not allow the unit to drain properly.

Too little clothes will not allow machine to tumble properly

Make sure the water is turned on. The dryer uses cold water during the dry cycle to create the condensation process
