My dehumidifier is displaying an error code. What does it mean?

Your dehumidifier has sensors to monitor for various conditions that may prevent the unit from operating in a normal manner.  Please refer to your user manual for error codes and operating instructions for your specific model.  Common dehumidifier error codes and messages can be found in the list below:

ES or E1 – Temperature sensor error

E2 – Defrost sensor error

AS or E3 – Humidity sensor error

For the above error codes, Power the unit off, and then unplug the unit for 15 minutes. Plug in and power on. If the issue persists, please contact customer service.

EC – Ambient temperature error.  The environment where the unit is operating is either too cold or too warm.  Make sure the ambient temperature is suitable for the unit (41°F – 95°F).

LO – Temperature too low error - Current room temperature is below 32°F.  Make sure the ambient temperature is suitable for the unit (41°F – 95°F).

HI – Temperature too high error - Current room temperature is above 122°F.  Make sure the ambient temperature is suitable for the unit (41°F – 95°F).

P2 – Bucket is full. Empty the water bucket and reinstall it.  How do I drain my dehumidifier?

Again, different models may display different codes.  Please refer to the user manual for your specific model #.  User manuals are available for download here
