Please refer to the below information related to error codes that may be displayed on your EdgeStar mini split air conditioning system.
Error Codes
If an error condition is detected, the temperature indicator on the indoor wall unit display will blink to display the corresponding error code. Please refer to the list below to identify the error code.
Note: The above indicator diagram is only for reference. Please refer to the actual product for the correct indicator and position.
Heating Indicator - ON 10s OFF 0.5s: This is the defrosting status. It is normal operation.
F1 or F2: Indicates an indoor temperature sensor malfunction. Please contact a qualified professional for service.
C5: Indicates a jumper connection malfunction. Please contact a qualified professional for service.
H6: Indicates a fan motor malfunction. Try restarting the unit to see if the error code will disappear. If it does not, please contact a qualified professional for service.
E5: Indicates a communication error between the indoor and outdoor units. Try restarting the unit to see if the error code will disappear. If it does not, please contact a qualified professional for service.
